Occupy Wall Street

More Info
On September 17th, 2011, hundreds of US protesters heeded a months long call by organizers to occupy Wall Street in New York City, and the financial districts of major cities all over the United States. The protests aim to draw attention to the failed economic system dominated by American businesses, and to the failed economic policies of governments and politicians that put corporations over people. Since the protests have taken root, they have become defined not just by the hundreds of thousands that have "occupied" many cities demanding economic reform, but by the brutality of police reaction to the protests.
