#14N General Strike

More Info
All across Europe, protests have erupted over a declining economy, cuts to public services, and high unemployment. Angered over this, proposed 2013 budgets, and austerity measures, various European populations have taken to the streets in protest. After additional cuts were recently announced in Spain and Portugal, several European countries called for a general strike that took place on November 14, 2012. Protests were organized in various countries, including Spain, Portugal, Greece, Italy, and France. The strike expanded, with Argentina and other countries also calling for general strikes to take place November 20, 2012.
