Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territory resulted in restrictions to the basic rights of Palestinians, including restrictions to travel and to access to essential resouces. Additionally, the Palestinian community faces illegal land expropriations. The enforcement of an economic blockade on Gaza has only contributed to aggravating the economic hardships of the Palestinian people.
