Spain's austerity measures and the impending educational reform which will cut even more funds from the educational sector and place more emphasis on Catholic religion classes within the grading system have triggered protests throughout the country. The austerity measures have bailed out banks by the billions for the past four years while unrelentingly cutting funds from the health and educational sectors.
