U.S Torture in Bagram Prison, Afghanistan
Bagram Prison is located within the Bagram Air Base, approximately 30 miles north of Kabul, Afghanistan. The U.S government claims that Bagram Prison is used as a detention center for "terror suspects." However, a growing amount of information suggests the abuse of power by U.S military officials. At least seven U.S soldiers were exposed to have been torturing and brutally killing unarmed Afghan and Pakistani civilians, including at least one minor. According to the human rights lawyers of various inmates, some of the interrogators who participated in the abuse remain uncharged.
