Protests in Spain 2012
On September 25, 2012, citizens in Spain began protests against the austerity measures for the country's 2013 budget. Many of the youths came out to protest the impending cuts to healthcare, to education, and to the salaries of public workers. However as demonstrators gathered, police in riot gear surrounded the group, shot rubber bullets into the crowd and beat protesters, resulting in over 30 injuries so far. More
